Estate Planning
You work hard and hope to provide a better life for your children. Yet so many put off doing any type of estate planning which would protect and provide for those they care about the most. Don’t put it off. The best time to do estate planning is when you’re young and healthy.
Our estate planning clients are treated with individual attention to the specific needs and situation. An estate plan can range from a simple will and power of attorney to complex plans including trusts. An estate planning package from Williamson & Siler, S.C. can also include a Living Will, Transfer on Death Designation, Health Care Power of Attorney, Financial Power of Attorney and Marital Property Agreement when needed.
Home and hospital visits are available upon request.
Powers of Attorney
A durable power of attorney allows you to appoint another person to handle your financial matters when you are unable to do so due to incapacity or incompetence due to an accident, illness or aging. These documents can also be very useful in avoiding guardianship.
A health care power of attorney allows you to appoint someone to make medical decisions for you when you are unable to make those decisions yourself. They also let you specify what kind of treatment you desire if you are unable to communicate your wishes.
